How to Get a Visa to Canada?

Turkish citizens wishing to travel to Canada must obtain a Canadian visa. In order to obtain a Canadian visa, which is a travel permit issued by the Canadian Consulate, it is necessary to fulfill the requirements set by the Canadian Consulate and submit the necessary documents.

To get a Canadian visa, you must first choose a visa type that suits your purpose of travel. You can go to Canada for different purposes such as tourism, business, family visit, education, work or immigration. There are different documents and requirements for each visa type. Before applying for a Canadian visa, it is important to get detailed information about the type of visa you choose.

In this process, our RCIC certified expert consultants will guide you by explaining the necessary documents and application steps in detail. With consultancy, you can eliminate the confusion in your visa process and take firm steps towards your goals.

Which visa should I apply for?

Determining the right type of visa for your purpose of travel to Canada is important in terms of both time and effort. Are you coming to study, work or plan to live in Canada for a long time?

We guide you in determining which visa type best suits your goals. With the knowledge and experience we have gained over the years, we meticulously carry out your visa application process from the very beginning.

Depending on the purpose for which you are going to Canada, you can apply for different types of visas.

Canada Visitor Visa

People planning to travel to Canada from Turkey are required to obtain a Visitor Visa, which is an official document proving that they meet the necessary requirements. A visitor visa is also called a 'tourist visa'. Many people traveling to Canada need this visa. Those who will be traveling to another country through Canada also need this visa. Thanks to our consultancy, you can complete the visa process quickly and easily.

Upon entry to Canada, there is a general right to stay for up to 6 months, but border officials may make different decisions on a case-by-case basis. Officers can determine the length of stay by stamping your passport or by issuing a "visitor registration" document. If you do not receive a stamp or document, you can stay in Canada for 6 months from entry or until your passport expires.

Canadian Work Permit

Canada is one of the most developed and livable countries in the world, as well as a country of immigrants. Therefore, there are many options for those who want to work and live in Canada.

A Canadian Work Permit is the official permission you need from the Canadian government to work full-time or part-time in Canada. This permit gives you the right to work for a certain period of time and must be renewed at the end of that period.

Types of Canadian Work Permits:

  1. Open Work Permit (OWP): Also known as an Open Work Permit, it is granted to people who want to come to Canada without being tied to a specific employer. This permit is specific for students and some other groups. For example, graduating international students can get this permit.

  2. Employer Sponsored Work Authorization (LMIA): This is a permit you can get when you have a work contract with a specific employer. The employer must prove that they are unable to hire a Canadian or permanent resident for the position in Canada.

  3. International Experience Canada (IEC) Work Permit: For young people between the ages of 18 and 35, it offers the opportunity to work and gain experience in Canada. There are three categories of this program: Working Holiday, Young Professionals and International Co-op Internship.

  4. Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP): Known as the Post-Graduation Work Permit, it allows international students studying in Canada to work in Canada after completing their studies. If the study period is 1 year, a work permit can be obtained for up to 1 year, and if the study period is 2 or more years, a work permit can be obtained for up to 3 years.

  5. Agricultural Worker Work Permit (SAWP): This is a special permit for those who want to work in the agricultural sector in some parts of Canada.

  6. Canadian Experience Class (CEC) Work Permit: It is a permit issued to foreign workers who have at least one year of work experience in Canada to apply for permanent residency.

Spousal Work Permit

In Canada, if one spouse is studying, the other spouse can obtain a work permit. A student at a public college or university is allowed to work part-time for 20 hours a week, while the spouse of the student is allowed to work full-time. For families with children, this status allows children to attend public school (primary, secondary and high school) free of charge for a certain period of time. Our goal for immigration over time is to bring you step by step closer to citizenship through the Express Entry system.

* Our Canadian Work Permit service costs CAD 1,200; CAD 6,500 for LMIA.

** If applying from within Canada, the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) is $750 CAD.
