Çigdem Koçak's Story
After completing my high school education in BAL, Izmir, I graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Economics and completed my master's degree in the same subject at Istanbul University. I started my professional career in banking, especially in research and corporate finance departments. For more than 20 years, we have continued our activities in the field of internationalisation in our own consultancy firm C&C. Since 2009, we have developed our services in the field of Education, which is our focus, and I have become a certified/accredited education agent, especially on education in Canada.
Having studied and experienced business life in Turkey, I decided to move to Canada with my family after 2013. We live part-time in Istanbul and Toronto. As someone who has experienced the cultural differences between the two countries and can compare the educational opportunities, we endeavour to be the access point for our families and students from Turkey in Toronto.
Research, Education, Personal Development and Ethical Values have always been important to me in every period of my life. In this sense, as a member of the National Olympic Committee of Turkey, I took active roles in the Academy Commission, worked on projects on the education of the masses at all levels of society, and represented our country many times abroad. Being together with young people and contributing to their future is the most valuable for me.
