● Profile Creation:You provide personal information, education history, work experience, and language test scores. Although supporting documents are not required at this stage, all information must be accurate, as it will later be verified.
● Evaluation and Invitation:All EOIs are scored based on Quebec’s points grid. Periodically, Quebec conducts draws to invite top-ranking candidates. In recent draws, candidates with advanced French skills and experience in sectors like IT, healthcare, and engineering have been prioritized.
● Formal Application:If invited, you must submit a complete application through Mon Projet Québec, providing supporting documents for all previously declared information. This includes diplomas, work references, and official language test results all in the correct format.
Points System Overview
To be considered for selection, applicants must meet the minimum score: 50 points for single applicants and 59 points for those applying with a spouse/partner.
Key factors include:
● Education Level and Field: Up to 14 points, with bonuses for priority fields.
● Work Experience: Up to 8 points for recent, relevant full-time work.
● Language Skills: French can provide up to 16 points; English up to 6 points.
● Age: Applicants aged 18–35 receive the maximum of 16 points.
● Spouse’s Characteristics: Up to 17 points for their education, age, and language skills.
● Children: 4 points per child, up to a maximum of 8 points.
● Connections to Quebec: Up to 8 points for prior stays, studies, or family ties.
Financial Self-Sufficiency: 1 point for proof of minimum funds.
Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) Stage
If your application is approved at the provincial stage, you will receive the CSQ, confirming Quebec’s selection of you as an immigrant.
From here, you proceed to the federal stage:
● Submit your CSQ to IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada).
● Undergo background checks, medical exams, and biometrics.
● The federal stage usually takes 6–12 months to complete.

QSWP is family friendly. You can include your spouse and dependent children under 18 in your application.
